In the last 24 hours, Portugal registered 13 more deaths and 552 new cases due to coronavirus. Covid-19 has so far caused 1,912 deaths and infected 68,577 people.
So far 45,596 people have recovered from the disease, 192 more than this Saturday.
There are another 14 people hospitalized this Sunday, out of a total of 511, but there is one less patient in intensive care, making a total of 63 people.
The North Region concentrates 273 of the new cases, followed by the Lisbon and Tagus Valley Region, with 179 more cases, the Alentejo, with 35 more, the Algarve with 33, the Center Region with 29, the Azores with two more cases. The Autonomous Region of Madeira registered a new case.
Ten of the 13 deaths were recorded in the Lisbon Region and the remaining three in the North Region.
39,362 people remain under surveillance, 26 fewer than those registered this Saturday.
Confirmed cases are distributed across all age groups, with the highest number of infections between 20 and 59 years of age.
In total, the new coronavirus has already affected at least 30,985 men and 37,592 women in Portugal, according to the declared cases.
Of the total fatalities, 963 were men and 949 women.
The largest number of deaths continues to be concentrated in people over 80 years of age.
