One arrest, a 25-year-old man, took place Monday in the parish of São Roque following a home search in which “600 individual doses of heroin and 5,500 euros in cash” were seized.
On Thursday, PSP also arrested a 35-year-old woman in the village of Livramento, also following a house search, resulting in “seizing enough heroin to prepare 4,000 single doses and 4,440 euros in cash”. .
The two suspects were present for the first judicial interrogation for enforcement measures, and the man was placed in pre-trial detention at the Ponta Delgada Prison, on the island of São Miguel.
